My studio-mate Kate snapped this Instagram photo of a print of mine hanging in my kitchen during my little New Years Eve soiree. I saw it on Twitter the next day and it made me very happy, she's a sweetheart.

I was looking back through "favorite tweets" last night and seeing this made me yearn to a.) make cupcakes (I've been severely slacking in this area of my life and it's starting to bum me out) and b.) letter something pretty. Now that I'm finally feeling like myself again I plan on doing just that.

Quote sketchbook.

A few weeks ago I started writing quotes down in Sharpie in an old book I have. It became a little sketchbook of sorts and I one day hope to fill the entire thing. This was the first one I did, certainly not anything special from an illustration point of view but there is something about it I like.

I should post pictures of them every so often, it has been a fun little side project.

Stop thinking so damn much.

human nature

i have had so much i've wanted to post about lately and just no time in which to actually do it. i am trying really hard to balance all the elements in my life right now and i've been meaning to put this closer to the top of the list, even if they're just fun inspiration posts.
